Single Again For The First Time 16: Broken (Divorce Support)
Part of figuring out how to move forward after a divorce is to figure out how the marriage happened in the first place. We all have various defense mechanisms that protect us from the world, but how big a role do those defense mechanisms become the catalyst for who we choose to be with? This has been a struggle for me, and I think I've put together a major piece to the puzzle - one in which neither my former spouse nor I were exceptionally wrong or right in our choices, but one in which responsibility cannot be laid at the other's doorstep.
